It depends on what you want it too look like in the end.

I think what you mean is you want something that will basicly look the same color when it's dry than when it's wet... and something that will hold the brush strokes... If that's the case then you wouldbe best off with an acryilic paint.

Watercolors can hold the brush strokes but you have to work harder for the colors. I think water colors are best to start off with because they are cheaper and watercolor paper costs a ton less than canvas. It's also easier to clean up.

If space is limited the paper would be easier to store. I've actually moved a bunch of my canvas into another room in my house because they keep getting underfoot but my watercolors are all neat in a portfolio I have behind my stereo.
In spite of the cost of living, it's still popular.

This is gonna sound potentially like a very weird story, an example of da weird retarded thingz i like to do but anywayz..here goez:

I was sittin in da front passanger seat of da car while my cousin was driving when dat 'this is how you remind me...' song came on da radio...I was like (to my cousin, who getz my crazy sense of humour cause she has one too lol) Imagine if someone performed this song and did THIS while singing it...and having very long hair at da time flipped all my hair infront of my face, rocking in my seat while givin da finger wif both handz and singin da song at da same time!! falloff My cousin was in absolute hysterics, she could barely drive...and then we both realised some guy was watchin da whole thing and was cackin himself too!! lol boxed

Oh man...i'm crazy..i ain't gonna apologize for it hmph! giggle
