Habits of your Partner

What are you willing to put up with in a partner and what are you NOT willing to put up with?

What I'm looking for, or asking about... are those things that you sit back and think.. wow... this really, really isn't gonna work. What makes you think that? And... what things are annoying or not okay, but you're willing to stick it out for because of whatever reason?

Lying and cheating not included as those should not really be tolerated anyway... so, other than those...

Laziness and general apathy about everything, also somebody who is not supportive of your hopes and dreams. I like people who are independent and passionate about life.

I can put up with that... lol. I have a difficult time in telling someone over and over that they have to put the shower curtain liner on the inside when taking a shower so that the water doesn't puddle on the floor and then having to tell them to close the shower curtain when done so that mildew doesn't start if closed.

I HATE having to repeat myself about these things. Perhaps they are petty, but it annoys me to no end. I think that common sense should be in there somewhere...

And, I do realize you were joking with your sponge comment. People seem to take my words too seriously here. Anyway...

I would fail at two of those. I sometimes smoke and I have NO patience!!

What about complaining about every thing. And... whining! "Ooooh... my throat is dry. I'm gonna get sick. I can feel it in every pore. Uh-oh... yup, my back hurts... something's going on. I'm getting sick." Then it snowballs into a bunch of vitamins and juice and constant complaing about unhealthy stuff.

That annoys me.

Currently, I am the one being annoying. I've been smoking the past three days. The guy who's here went to get a massage this morning. Comes back and has a sheet about the hazzards of smoking (like I'm not aware) from the massage lady. Tells my kids to leave the room when mommy smokes, throws a pack of my cigarettes in the tub when I took a bath (I was PISSED THE FUCK OFF), I light one and he flicks it out of my hand and it breaks 2/10 times. Finally, I said... look. If you can't handle it.... leave. So, now, he's pouting in bed. 'Tis the reason that I'm here and not there. smile

In my current frame of mind I think perhaps I'm better off alone. Though, the thought of always being alone frightens me.

There he goes.. "sniff, sniff... Ooooooh"

Fucker.

Yeah... and now he's covered from head to toe with blankets to ward off the smoke in the air. Later, he'll wonder why I'm hugging my side of the bed.

Nah, they feast on the bloody entrails of the butchered animals. Usually with cous-cous and a side-salad.

I'm gonna sound like a brat but...

My partner HAS to treat me like a queen. The sun and moon must revolve around everything I say and do.

In return I'll treat my partner the same way.

I've wasted too much of myself on losers to not think this way.

A few months ago I was seeing this guy who was "below par", not a bad person just...not right. I was too stubborn to see that but I remember what Byron said about him, he said," NO! NOT GOOD ENOUGH FOR KIM!" ...months later I agreed....I think I'll always recall that when I think about who I want to be with.
