JerseyKRS lives through Hurricane Charley..... I've gotten alot of orgnotes asking if I'm ok, so I thought a post would be better.
Well, the storm was headed DIRECTLY for me, but at the last minute, she turned northeast and hit land sooner and more south than anyone predicted. All I got was a little rain and wind. However, I feel bad for the area it did hit. Since they thought it was going to be hitting tampa, they were only prepared for 40-60 mph winds, turns out they got the full force of a category 4 hurricane, which is 145 mph sustained winds. It wrecked shop on Punta Gorda and the surrounding areas. There were deaths and everything. Also, thank you to everyone that cared enough to ask how I was doing. I'm just a regular guy with smartass comments on this site, so it was nice to see that people give a shit sometimes. ONE LOVE to all.

Yeah, it's good to hear that you came out of this unscathed, dude.
But I do have some friends and family there that I am worried about. NEW WAVE FOREVER: SLAVE TO THE WAVE FROM THE CRADLE TO THE GRAVE.

Beautiful to hear all is well in your area. Unfortunate how mother nature can be. I lived through several major floods as a young child. In 1983 (I believe), we lost everything due to flooding. I visually saw our home float down the river... with my pet cat trapped on the roof and livestock drowning. Human fatality is lower... due to more warning time and gradual raise in water levels.
All in all... all major diasters play a role in our memories forever, it becomes a part of us that will forever remain. I feel I will never live by another source of water again.

Glad you're ok...
I was also worried about my sister and her family...they live in Pembrook Pines, just outside of Miami. They're OK as well... Thanks for the laughs, arguments and overall enjoyment for the last umpteen years. It's time for me to retire from Prince.org and engage in the real world...lol. Above all, I appreciated the talent Prince. You were one of a kind.
