It was a man.

He was standing in front of my window. This means he is trespassing.

He is wearing heavy machinery. He is a huge fellow, the Neanderthaler kind.

I open my window.....

This is no story, this was reality this morning...

It was the plumber of the neighbours, telling me my entire foundation is flooded because of a clotted up (?) rain drain (?).

After the huge storm we had yesterday, including one that sounded like earth was violently reliving the Big Bang, we had water coming out from underneath our houses.

So I have a swimmingpool underneath my house, y'all!

How Fun!

This explains why my new house smells so.... fungus-y. This will pass, the plumber promised me. The water needs to sink into the soil. Well.

Okay , so maybe it's not exactly the middle, but it's pretty darn close.

Well, okay, "central", then.

I am in walking distance of everything worth going to.

I live just outside the city center, just far enought to be out of it's crazy noise.
Just close enough to be there after a ten minute bike ride.
