Who likes GODZILLA? I know I'm not the only one. I know that these movies never had a chance at the Oscars, but they're still fun to watch. What's your favorite Godzilla movie? vs. King Kong? classic Mothra? another classic battle. Monster Zero? Three headed Monster? Ghidrah? MechaGodzilla? the list goes on. Sci-Fi showed Destroy All Monsters not too long ago. The only movie related to Godzilla that I hate is the remake... Should've never happened. looking for you in the woods tonight Switch FC SW-2874-2863-4789 (Rum&Coke)

I haven't watched any of the old ones, but I will agree that the movie that was released a couple years ago was TERRIBLE! The old ones MUST be better than that one!

I use to like Godzilla up until the neighborhood bully chased me around one day, striking me on the head with a big stick making that wailing sound Godzilla makes when he's ripping shit up! I had to be 5 or 6 at the time, he was about 10 or maybe thirteen! I remember going into the house crying to my mom and she came outside and grabbed him up by the collar in front of all the other kids he was terrorizing on the block. I don't think I've felt a sense of Justice like that sense.
Anyways, I still find him enduring. I remember that first feeling I had seeing rise out of the water walking to shore. Oh! And my favorite fights were with: King Ghidora Rodan Gamera

Moderator | I never watched that stuff... but they did film the new one in the next city over from me
(Jersey City), they film a lot of stuff there because it's cheaper to film in NJ than in NYC and they filmed it in the middle of the night. They had this GIANT blue screen up that was bigger than some of the buildings. It was really cool! In spite of the cost of living, it's still popular. |

BTW, did you know that the shot of the plane flying over Tokyo in Kill Bill Volume I is actually the set from the latest Godzilla movie?? Quentin's a fan, and wanted a nod to those films!
