seriously, is a gun a gun ???? alright, today i found out that my landlord who has a shop in the back area of my yard had a gun there... the kids found it - which makes it even worse.
the landlords assistant showed up and i went crazy, walked him back there, pointed at it, and said get this the hell outta here... it looked real to me, if felt real, so, it must be real, right ? he looked at me and shook his head, said, its a pellet gun, he thought that was funny. my question is, what do you think about this ? my personal thought, a freaking gun (pellet or otherwise) has no business being there in the first place.... One of the best days of my life... http://prince.org/msg/100/291111

sort of off topic (but still on guns) here in Australia a little while ago they started showing ads for sporting shooters Association of Australia (hope I got that right LOL) anyway they're showing the ads during PRIME TIME TV when all the cartoons are on and kids are watching...call me old fashioned but I find that disturbing because they say it's "safe and fun" and anyone can do it
personally I find it so wrong they're actually advertising it

I agree that a pellet gun and a gun are different, but some look completely alike, with the obvious exceptions, such as the barrel. He shouldn't have had it back there, or laughed about it. What if the cops had come, and there was the kid with it, or there was a real gun and the kids thought it was fake, and an injury occurred? Plus, with kids, a pellet gun can seriously do damage. Its all fun and games until someone loses an eye.....

Totally agree. What if that pellet hits a child in the eye and they lose their sight?? It is dangerous - get rid of it or at least report it to the police. You will sleep easier at night.
