However, I do have to agree that this place is very cliquey - but of all the forums General Discussion is probably the easiest one to get along in, despite it's cliquety.

My advice is to always remember that this is only a website. If you're desperate for attention reality is a better place to find it.

At the same time though, I wonder how many people are really jaded by Prince due to the fans/fams they encounter on this site, as well as the constant rehashing and nitpicking of everything that man has ever said or done in his life. It's happened to a few people that I know of, including myself. Sometimes I just have to get back to the music to remember why I am a fan in the first place and to not allow the weirdos to ruin it...

I have to wonder about the sanity of anybody who frequents this site who is not a Prince fan. I mean, what brought them here in the first place ? I would have thought that anybody who discovers this site and decides to stick around may not necessarilly stay here because they are Prince fans, but I would have thought that the main reason people discover it in the first place is because they are Prince fans. I mean, what sort of fool wastes their own time actively seeking out sites dedicated to people they do not like? I initially came here because as much as I think as I THINK I know about Prince, there is always somebody who can hip me to something I didn't know.
