stupid..... This was in the letter to the editors in the paper in the town I live in -

Too much given to Hmong immigrants
MARINETTE — All summer you have constantly printed articles concerning the Hmongs. NOT ALL people are happy about them coming here. I feel the charities encouraging this should put their money where their mouths are and support them, especially financially.
First, we help our own people who have paid taxes, etc. before immigrating anyone. These Hmongs helped or aided us out of decency and humanity — not payola.
By the way, here are some tips for them to get along with us: Stay home. Look me in the eyes; eyes are mirrors of the soul. Don’t speak a foreign language in front of me; this is an English-speaking country. Learn our customs. Don’t be too friendly; it takes time to develop friends and neighbors.
We should all have a say in whether we accept these immigrants. According to your newspaper, many will become doctors, lawyers and leaders. I’d have to see that to believe it.
We are giving away our country to these people. What a shame.
As I heard Andy Rooney say: One of the very first rules for immigration should be able to speak fluent English.
I agree. Enough of the Hmongs.


I really live in the same area as this narrow minded ass hole!!!!! I really can't believe that people really think like this any more!!!!
