All these damn cellphone plans... So which plan works out the best for people? There's Sprint...T Mobile...Cingular...Metro PCS...Verizon...Nextel and At&T. 
I have Sprint PCS and they are the Rip-off kings...as well as Cingular but they deserve the Sneaky Bastards crown more so.

ATT used to have their free nights starting at 8. Now it's 9. Seriously, who the hell talks after 9:00?? You have to fork out extra money for your free nights to start at 7 or 8. I mean, like, where is the sun? | |

I'm on pay-as-you-go with T-Mobile and I never pay because I'm cheap. I just let people ring me.
I don't know how it works outside the U.K. but you still get free voicemail retrieval even if you never top-up your account. I think all the other U.K. pay-as-you-go providers charge you for retrieving voicemail. | |

I have Verizon..
I have never had any problems. Probably because my phone is always off... Can't wait to disconnect it. ^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^

Im with Nextel. Reception is great, phone bill is easy to read, and they have great customer service. Their rate plans vary. Im willing to pay the 10 or 15 dollars more to have good service.
1,000 anytime minutes free long distance (northern cali, nevada, arizona) free nights and weekends unlimited direct connect 54.99 a month not too bad..... | |

In the US, you get charged up the b-hole whenever you use your phone (it's like 25 cents per minute for the first three minutes, then ten cents per minute after that, or something equally as ridiculous) - regardless of whether you called them or they called you. It also costs to retrieve voice mail, and once your account balance goes below a certain level (like $5), then you can't even recieve text messages. This is all for ATT, but I know the rest are very similar. They all suck. Pay as you go is so new here, hopefully they'll fix it up eventually. I mean, like, where is the sun? | |
