My Purse was stolen friday

I went to this visit my boyfriend in Akron Friday, I had my child with me for the first time at his place. We went to a festival and had parked and locked the car. I figured that my purse would be safe in the trunk. I was wrong. They knocked out a window, slashed the babyseat to get to the trunk (car is a hatchback). Stole all my identification, i had extra money on me becasue i was planning on taking my daughter to the zoo the next day so they took like $100 my check book and my brand new $300 digital camera.

I am a single mother what little things I have I cant replace quickly, I had to save up for 4 months to get that camera, a car seat is $100+ and the money I had to take my daughter to the zoo is gone and it will take me another month to have that kind of extra money.

But I am not sure what the worst part about it is. I feel so damn violated because they have my purse, they were in my space, they have my checkbook, they know where I live, and they have my garage door opener.

I am just not sure what is wrong with people, why do that to someone, what the hell are they thinking.

Ahh ella, I am so sorry this happened to you..... mad

People can be such assholes anymore! I grew up with a single mom too (big ups to all single moms!! :headbang ), and I know how difficult it can be. I am sorry! and extremely pissed off!

There are predators at all of these types of gatherings just waiting for someone to drop their guard.... they were obviously watching you put your things in your trunk.... and you know someone had to have seen this, but said nothing....

I wish I could help hon....

Dayum ella, thats awful hug At least you and your baby are safe flower It could have been a lot worse, when you look at it pray

I got my purse stolen last year. I was in an internet cafe and a man next to me asked for my help, when I leant over to help him get started, his *accomplice* was opening my bag which was on the floor in front of me, and took out my purse so carefully and quickly that I didnt notice. I found it weird that the man I had helped didnt stay long. By the time I left for home, I hailed a taxi and couldnt find my purse at all, luckily the cabbie let me write a cheque without card details, and when I phoned immediately to report it, my card had been used several times.

Some people are just ***** mad Not even gonna say it!! pissed

What a terrible ordeal Elle. The mental trauma and shock of the attack can be difficult to cope with too. Hope you're handling things in the best way for you mate.

Take Care pal.
