org boys, i need some advice. alright, heres the scene....
you are in love with a woman, she is in love with you, you guys have dated prior, and neither of you tried real hard at the relationship.. this time, it requires you to move away, and leave your job, and your family. you want to go, but are reluctant. anyway, at first she is all about telling you how much she loves you, and misses you.... comes to visit you, making a 4 hour drive a few times just to hang out for the afternoon... heres the question, is it true that a man needs a little chase involved ? like, if a woman is too easy to get, is that no fun ? does it make you think its less worth it ?? if she backs off, would it make him chase after her more ? or..... should she keep telling you that she loves you and be there for you no matter what ? thanks guys  lookin for some insight into the crazy mind of a man  One of the best days of my life... http://prince.org/msg/100/291111

Some like to chase, others don't. You just have to ask yourself "when the chase is over, how is he going to behave?" Stay away from those who play games, that's my advice. | |

Sincerely, Dr Big Fun I get the jist of what you're saying, and it works as advice in this case, but not all of what you said is on point. Love may not be hard work, but keeping a lasting relationship together certainly can be. Love doesn't make it all better. And as for opportunity only knocking once, well that's not true either. Plenty of folks break up and make up and work it all out. That's the part of the work part.
As for you, nakedpianoplayer, games in general are a bad idea. If he's not cool with you when you're being honest, it wasn't meant to be. |
