Have you ever made yourself look like a fool at work?

I walked into a file cabinet today, I dropped the project I was working on, papers went everywhere, I laughed my ass off cause I must have looked like a fool!

Damn thing jumped right in front of me.....LOL

First day of teaching ever, I walked into a faculty meeting and sent a pile of folding chairs off like dominos...

last year my assistant had to give me the heimlich maneuver cuz I choked on a piece of candy and couldn't breathe...

This year nothing so far but it's only the third day of school confused
In spite of the cost of living, it's still popular.

hmmm there are so many

The first week on the ward where i work now i managed to get shut in a dark linen cupboard it was so dark i couldn't find the handle and started to panic, I was banging on the door but it was miles away from the rest of the staff so no one heard me bawl

they found me about 15 minutes later sat on the floor feeling sorry for myself, thing was there was a light switch i just couldn't find it giggle

they still sometimes tease me about that now lol

Before I entered nursing I worked as a carer in a nursing home.

For the first day I was given a white tunic and a white tunic and white pants...it wasn't 'til I got

there that a slight design flaw showed itself....

...The pants were pretty translucent...all was on show so to speak... omfg

...I had to wprk a 12 hour shift like that boxed

I'm always falling over crap at work, things start to get hectic and I start doing nose dives over chairs and any other object that seems to get in my way. Even when I do try to sit on a chair once in awhile I sometimes end up flat on my back cause it rolls away. I used to think I was a major clutz, but these things only happen at work so I'm thinking its the chairs...the have something against me and they are trying to start a war...but they won't win!!!! lol

Many times *deep sigh*

One was when I was having great time in another discussion group and I just cracked for some thread there, and an old lady was borrowing her books in front of me. Luckily my joyfulness made her laugh too smile

I'm also so tired nowadays that as I'm reading something I read just so wrong that it makes me crack in front of people smile

No, I've had other people do that for me, thank you. neutral

Real quick. The director likes to tell stories during orientation. So, he told everyone that I paired an Israeli and a Palestian in the same hotel room during a visit to DC once. Of course, I never did that, but everyone had a good chuckle at my expense.
