It seems only I...   so be it. 
I started this thread after a quote my dad has said forever... I mean since as long as I have been born.  He has so many little remarks that he says... I vow to myself to start writing them down... like a book of quotes from the dad kinda thing. 
Anyways... one of his sayings are... A beer, a beer... my kingdom for a beer...!!! I mean, who else would trade in their beloved kingdom for the beauty of a beer?  He would. I need to go see him... and that is where I am going today. To have a beer with my beautiful ol' dad... in one of our old little local pubs.
I was thinking of him when I began this thread and felt the desire for a beer myself last night.  Heck it was Friday... a partial ending to a crazy week, for me personally. 
Off to visit my dad... which is 1 1/2 hours aways from here. I always enjoy the drive through the mountains and endless views of desert.

Ok, so honestly I don't really care for the taste of beer... unless it is loaded with salt and lemon. Although I do enjoy one or two from time to time. I don't drink to get drunk... haven't done than in years. The pain is not worth it anymore in my old age. 
Although I am a sucker for sweetness... 
Such as... this... 
or this... 
Strong beer or dark beer... or anykind of beer especially if not ice, ice cold.
This is my new beer of choice... opposed to Bud Light for more years than I can count.

~As you can see... I haven't left my house... so in that I will stick around some and why not... have a beer. Time alone today has been good.
