actually, i really wasn't away from the Org. i was just hiding as another username. any guess what name that was and they get a big ol Milty prize.
it's good to be back. i think the old crew (yes i consider myself 'old crew', no longer a newbie and all that), i think we need to reclaim the Org from these wayward newbies up in here. the Org has been no fun lately - a lot of threads about sex and dumb shit. let's make this place a little more meaningful and fun!!! i haven't had a good laff in ages.
i know we are all free to talk about whatever it is we need to talk about, but jeezus already. some of us need to get a life. it's fun to take the piss outta somebody at times, just for a joke (i'm thinking about poor Althom here) but sometimes it just goes too far.
the Org has been a big part of my life the past couple of years. yes indeed, i have met some really cool people and one particularly special person; so it has been beneficial for me to be here, but i'm not ready to leave.
after all, it is a small world these days becuz of the internet and we have started relationships thru this place so let's make this a cool place.

And isn't it horrible that I just read this thread? It's sad to find out you have been dissappointed with us, but we are just human. Of course we will react differently to a newbie than we would to you under this guise. It's a bit unfair to put it on one level.

But the other things I am hearing. ALthough no stranger to innuendo, I agree on this site being slackish.

I notice it when there is a fun, good thread and people just forget about it, becuz there are so many other threads to react to. Like Sinister has this great poem thread. Was hard to make a poem of the words given (like Yoda. I am used to other words in poems...)
I wish people would just stick with a good thread. If I like a thread I subscribe to it (nice option) so you get a notice when there is a new post.

And let's be honest. People are shallow. You meet some people here that are important, but the rest is just a nice bunch of people that are killing time. As soon as you put that into perspective and just hang with the peeps you love it will be a fun place again.

And it is hard to be part of a forum, esp in the beginning. I tended to be overly honest, which is not always good, esp as people are, like I said, shallow. Than some reactions might come across as harsh.
