We've had a couple little heat waves, but we don't get really hot until August/September. At least it's dry heat here - real humidity really sucks. Plus, the beach is always a short drive away ! I usually love the really hot, humid summers. It's been beautiful here in Holland for the past three weeks, and I've been really sick that whole time. So I have basically been missing out on the great weather, having been cooped up in the house.

That's why I love living in California.The weather here is just perfect.The summers are warm,but not TOO hot (at least in my area).The winters don't get TOO cold (and no snow at all).The weather here is never extreme,no matter what season it is. | |

At first, weather patterns will get incredibly screwed-up (a la el-nino). This will lead to extreme colds and hots in different parts of the world, at least at first.
