I've already got two tattoos. A group of stars on my left shoulder blade I got May 5, 2003, and an eagle head with the name "Victor" over it on my left bicep, in memory of my father (R.I.P. Daddy) that I got March 24 of this year. I've got pics of them saved on my computer, but not online, so I'm not sure if I can post them or not.


ANYWAYS, I'm trying to think up ideas for my next tattoo. I want it to incorporate flowers, probably Morning Glories. (Other options could be daisies, lilacs, lilies, dandelions, or buttercups) I'm also of thinking of incorporating my astrological sign -Aries. But obviously, I'd need a more solid picture than that when I eventually go in to get it. I'm thinking I might get the tattoo on one or both of my feet.

Could someone, anyone, help me out here? Any ideas? Suggestions? Good sites to go to for design help or pictures I could look at for ideas?

I'm getting a tattoo of Bowie's face from the Diamond Dogs cover in a few months...

anyhow, you're so young for so many tattoos! I'm all for them but it's the permanence that freaks me out. That said, pick something that has meaning - PLEASE don't just surf around on the net for random pictures!!

Tribal work is a lil "dated" my next tat.. well 2 of em... im getting my Dad's name under my sister's... on my forearm... im thinking about having a city scene with a grafitti wall and tags on it... or a pair of Turntables.. on my forearm...not quite sure yet

Tatoos have nothing to do with fashion, they're not pure art decorating your body; it's more than that because it becomes a part of yourself; once u got it , u're stuck to it for life!

It took me 5 years (same for piercings) to be sure which tatoo would be mine (a tribal lion, and it's a small one though) and also where I wanted it to be (it's meaningful too ) cuz I wanted to make sure which one would describe what I am in the best way and would make me feel unique, and it had to be meaningful too.

When it comes to tatoos, people's minds often stop to sight without going further to reach the meaning of it. (they always think I'm a leo! )

To sum up: best tatoos are the ones which describe what u are in the best way

Oh I won't. One of my biggest pet peeves (among many others) about body modification is people who get a tattoo just because it's trendy, or who randomly pick something off a flash wall. So annoying!

But don't worry. I always put a lot of careful thought and consideration into whatever I do to my body, and in comparison to most of my friends, I'm taking the whole thing rather slowly. The stars on my shoulder I spent over two years thinking about and finalizing what I wanted it to look like before I got it inked. The eagle I've wanted to get since my father passed away when I was six, and I spent nearly 5 years thinking about the design.

I found a nice drawing of Morning Glories. This is one of the ideas.




The more I think about it, the more I like the idea of it being on my feet. Still have to pick the flowers and finalize a proper design, which'll take me forever. Better than rushing into anything though.
