I love thunderstorms and looking at lightning bolts. (from inside the house, of course.) Ever since the movie Twister, I've been wanting to see a tornado up close and personal. And maybe I'm crazy, but for some reason, I like being at the beach when it's about to storm and the wind gets high. Dont know why.

I love storms!!!!! when mother nature does her housekeeping it can be an awesome spectacle

In Queensland (north-eastern Australia) we get the tropical storms and it's absolutely breathtaking!!!

Living in Kansas , you will get over your excitement of tornados. At least when you are heading toward the basement for cover...

Love them!!! They sort of turn me on!

The only time a storm scared me was recently...I was driving to pick up my kids from
school, and the sky turned GREEN and dark FAST...lots of wind, hail, and so much
rain in a 10 minute period that both of the underpasses that I had to cross were flooded!
It looked like the end of the world!

Hurricane Alex is heading our way. So we'll be getting the effects pretty soon. I can't believe they're back on the letter A.

I like a good storm, so long as nothing bad comes out of it. Growing up in West Africa, the tropical storms were amazing. There used to be something really magical and special in experiencing one. In Europe, where I am at least, the storms are usually cold and quite different. I'm not quite sure how to describe it...you just have to be there, methinks!

I love storms and really REALLY miss them.....all we get here is SUNSHINE! Not a bad problem to have, but I like nature and all its brilliance!

I got to experience my first true tropical storm in Brazil and it was magnificent! The lightning show was spectacular! And I was all in it!!!
