Help Me Pick My Numbers

Last night I played a 50 cent bet on that evening lottery deal with the three numbers. I've never played before and so the guy said to choose three numbers. Looking up on the wall, I see numbers over the lottery ticket display and I said "407", then stopped him and said, "619" (thinking that a number with a "0" in it, wasn't a very good number to start off with in my first time playing). GRRRRR... ALWAYS go with your first instinct! The number last night was 470. I only would have won $41... but still!

Soooo... in about thirty minutes I am going to go and buy $4.00 worth and figured why not have some help.

I need eight three digit numbers!

Nope. All is okay with the password for here. The problem comes in when I make arrangements with the bill collectors and forget what I told them when I call back to extend the date.

Really? But, it's only $41.00. I mean... my electric company would thank you. So would the cable company. A couple of book stores would thank you, as well.

I find that a lot of people feel this way. The only reason I'm trying to play is because a good friend of mine worked out a "system". He's got oodles and oodles of papers with little, three digit numbers written all over them. He's one five weeks in a row. Every Tuesday or Thursday he wins. He won't share them, even though he wouldn't be losing any money. And, so I asked another friend if they would share if they had a "system" or were on a winning streak... and they said, "no", too.

Yeah. They're probably wondering how many times a month "family emergencies" are going to come up where I had to go out of town and couldn't make it in to pay.

If they try to sell you this "system," run in the other direction. Fast.

I'll go with the 373, though... like I said, 666 will probably be the big winner.

Well, I played 279, 246, 847 and 373 and you were the closest to the winning number.

The number called was: 892, in any order. So... you, Lleena and 9s were the closest. You all had two of the numbers.

Damnit. I lost.

mad

Trying again tomorrow!

biggrin

EDIT: I just realized... Had I felt an "8", instead of a "7" when 9s shouted out "2" and "9"... I woulda hit it.
