Laid off... I, along with our entire finance dept, was laid off from work today. I was given a severence package and a letter of recommendation.
Please keep me and my former co-workers in your thoughts (and let me know if you hear about any Journalism or PR jobs!  )

Happened to me a year ago. Pretty hard cuz I had to relocate from paris back to Amsterdam! And today I am still without a job! Just got turned down today for a job I was really going for, so I am a bit bummed too. My thoughts are with you and your colleagues.   U | |

I was laid off YEARS ago, 3 years into my 1st "real job".. so I have an idea of what you're going through - & it's tough. as such, I'll offer you this, as you regroup & get ready to move on to something else good, maybe even bigger & better : + for every door that closes, another door opens + every experience - professional or otherwise - that you go through in life prepares you for "the next level" to paraphrase the title of the 8th song off the 6th album : BABY YOU'RE A  !I'll see you tonight..
