or the radio, you click through all the presets and every fucking station has commercials on.....

The commercials pay for the shows. Without the commercials you would be paying for the time you have the t.v. on. I Hate commercials too, especially when it's a good movie and they put (and I have counted) at least 6 commercials before they get back to the show.

They time TV and Radio commericals to all be running at the same time so you do not turn the channel and get into a show on another channel and stay watching/listening to the other network...at least that's what a media professor told me.  In spite of the cost of living, it's still popular. |

i can't stand that either--that's why i very rarely go to the movies and just wait for somethin to come out on dvd. folks pay their money to watch the fuckin movie, not 10 minutes worth of previews!  | |
