or the radio, you click through all the presets and every fucking station has commercials on.....

The commercials pay for the shows. Without the commercials you would be paying for the time you have the t.v. on. I Hate commercials too, especially when it's a good movie and they put (and I have counted) at least 6 commercials before they get back to the show.

They time TV and Radio commericals to all be running at the same time so you do not turn the channel and get into a show on another channel and stay watching/listening to the other network...at least that's what a media professor told me.

I went to the cinema the other day and all the previews were f*cking commercials. WTF?!?! I knew there was a reason why I didn't go as often.
