Why are Humans the only species that "ATTEMPTS" to stay with one partner their entire lives??

I think initially when people "ATTEMPT" to become familiar with their sexuality they definitely explore and experiment with more than one partner exclusively.....but as they grow and mature and take on values and ethics and healthcare responsibilities for themselves and those they love.... well, sometimes they no longer have to "ATTEMPT" they kind of "CHOOSE" to share that special part of them of the ONE that has earned their love and their "RESPECT" ..... and that they've given it to...

Ya ever get a present that you KNEW someone had taken the time to hand pick just for you and not only the gift but the whole effort on their part made you feel so special and so loved..... well, would u still feel special if the bought one of the same thang fo' errybody on your block? ; would u still treasure it and them with the same high regard? Actions speak volumes baby .... words well they are words.... some of which have value and some of which are used as smokescreen .....filter ..... or *ahem* an "ATTEMPT"

We get tired of folks for a plethora of reasons.....and we decide we don't want anything to do with people for awhile...then we get back in the saddle and drive ourselves nuts because we still cannot effectively communicate shit about ourselves and retreat once again! When all there really is to do is just one of two things....settle for one (besides yourself) and pull your hair out from time to time or just chill and be with the world and do what you feel, when you feel it. I don't know which is better or more effective because I love the variety my life brings to me. When will I ever be with one particular person.....who knows.

There are just so many ways to go about this thing called life....who really knows which way is best?

I think it's because that is what we learned to do. That is what is "normal" and looked upon as "normal" to society.

Personally, I don't really feel that it is natural for the majority. It's just what we do.
