This was in the newspapers last week and I honestly couldnt stop laughing when I read it

Police are investigating after a 15-year-old schoolgirl was given a 13cm tattoo of Winnie the Pooh.
Julie Thomas, from Sussex, had the design and the words "Grandpa H", put on her arm to remember her grandfather.

But it's against the law for people under 18 to get tattoos, and Julie's mum, Mary, wants the tattooist who did it to be investigated.

Julie says she felt pressured into getting the design. She said: "If I could scratch it off, I would."



She went on: "I didn't realise how big it was until I saw it in the mirror."

The tattooist who did Julie's design apparently only does the designs as a hobby.

Julie has had to have blood tests to see if she's caught anything from his needles, but won't know the results for three months.

The design cost £40, but it could cost up to £600 for painful laser surgery to have it removed.

For some reason I thought the legal age was 16.

Got her beat.... my neighbors daughter is 13 (looks 25 and smokin'...) and her father who is a local cop in Ohio, took her to get a tattoo just above her ass crack about a year ago...un-fucking-believable!

what I want to know is HOW COULD SHE NOT KNOW IT WAS GOING TO BE HUGE???? Does she not feel any pain? I think that would have been a dead give away as to how big it was going to be

If my 15 year old daughter would come home with a tattoo I'd be disappointed, but I'd be more disappointed if she'd make a stupid comment like "I didn't realise how big it was until I saw it in the mirror." When i have gotten tattoo'ed before they do an outline on your skin to follow, i mean she had to feel the size of it then BEFORE it was permantly on her young nubile skin
