o-tay, for everyone here...i gotta little explainin to do:

the 4gotten four was a prince-inspired comic book that i used to doodle up and send to finess a few years back. i'd do one and send one to 'im at least once a month. it basically involved the misadventures of four characters, all of prince, each one representin certain aspects of his career which p "killed" (hence the halos n'such, it all takes place in Lower Purgatory, aka "The Other Side") when he changed his name to . four characters are as follows:

dezperayshun (p, circa late 1979-early '80, the youngster and somewhat naive horndog of the bunch)

ecnirp (aka "uncle" dirty) (dirty mind era, intelligent all-around smart-ass)

naughty-ass (pr era--basically a prettyman and a clit-tease)'

spooky (the whole symbol era, bitchy meanie with a pet dove)


...i stuck finess in at least a couple issues (from what i remember) cuz he liked the characters so much, so i decided to put 'im in so he could interact with 'em. funniest thing about it is that i got his sense of humor and mannerisms dead-on, so puttin finess in cartoon form was super-easy. i don't mind if you scan some stuff so folks can see it, man, i'm cool with it.

btw, the girl in the panels above is miranda, one of the characters from the four. she's this bitchy, chain-smokin angel who lives next door to dezperayshun and ecnirp...dez has a huge crush on miranda, but she gives 'im a hard time because he's a contradictive spirit (half-angel, half-demon) and angels aren't supposed to have any sorta personal relationship with contradictions, other than them being their servants.

dez and miranda's relationship is somewhat like a more adult version of sally and linus's relationship in peanuts...miranda is dez's "sweet baboo", so to speak.
