uk orgers....remeber saturday teatimes?

it would be all dark and cozy.....

your mum is making fishfingers and chips and beans with a sparkgling glass of dandelion and burdock

i'm american, and somehow

this is reminding me of being home on sundays

all cozy with the family

having a nice snack like homemade bread & jam

and watching mutual of omaha's wild kingdom

or disney

on sunday nights...

When I lived at home before I got married, we sometimes used 2 have homemade scones and jam with tea, or later on it would b my turn 2 cook a meal as I was a budding chef back then and I would try out all my creations on my family!! lol lol lol lol lol . Its a wonder they are all still alive!! lol lol lol lol
Then we would watch either Morcombe and Wise, The Two Ronnies, Bruce Forsythe and the Generation Game, Some Mothers Do 'Ave Em, etc.!!

Aaaah, those were the good old days, when I was carefree and had no worries of family,etc.!! biggrin biggrin biggrin

Saturday afternoon wrestling on ITV with Big Daddy and Giant Haystacks chair

Grandstand/Final Score, on both BBC1 & ITV (flicking between the two.... WHY?.... I don't quite know biggrin )

Then watching a few of those cheesy quiz shows like The Price Is Right with Leslie 'COME ON DOWN' Crowther lol

damn rite i used 2 go 2 grandparents every weekend and it was always wrestling woth big daddy, my god they were the days, we would call at the chippy and all settle 2 watch it then we would eat sweets til they came out our ears, but my nanna had sensitive hearing and if u crunched a peanut brittle she would 1st give u a dead eye..then if ya did it again she'd smack u round the head,whoa yes those were the days..hehe...followed by the biggest sunday dinner and rubarb crumlbe..yum yum clapping
