Hey, I always wanted to know, those cool embroidery sewing machines they got these days, can you make your own designs and save as whatever format the machine needs (do they have floppy disks or some other memory stick thingies?). I would get into it if I could, being a graphic designer I could think of tons of stuff I'd love to embroider. I saw in this magazine once, to immortalise your child's drawings by embroidering them onto napkins and stuff. | |

oh wow... that's a bit fancy for me. i'm a strictly old-fashioned do-it-yourselfer. in other words, my apartment is too small to contain lots of machines for making snazzy stuff. when shopping for cloth diapers on ebay, saw a lot of work-at-home-mom designs - mostly embroidered on diaper covers. one of those chicks would know... | |
