OK,I am not gonna be embarrased.
Since an early age I have always been creative. My Nana taught me how to knit at 4. I knit, not alot but I do knit some wild fonkay stuff. I sew. Not great at making clothes but I do make other bits and pieces. Obviously I draw - I mean I do it everyday for a living. I paint and do all that artsy stuff. I make things from wood, glass, metal etc etc I once made a whole load of earrings and sold them in Spain. I can embroider, make lace and other shit. Ok - I am done Basically, I am good with my hands

hey Heiress, I'd be interested in seeing your crocheted plastic bag... sounds cool!
I knit, sew, embroider, cross stitch, quilt, all that crap. Been doing it for ages and have always had an interest (as well as a knack) for that kind of stuff. I "fix" a lot of my clothes - because I have such a weird body, I'm constantly making shirts tighter, making trousers shorter, taking out the waist completely, etc. I mean, like, where is the sun?

Sounds great Heiress! We had some classes at school, I made a skirt, it was awful. : I remember the teacher sniffed at it, I never wore it, I couldn't. I used it as a duster.

I can knit and embroidery and sew and cross-stitch, but, I've never completed any of them that I started. I go in head first and end up quitting after about an hour or two and never go back. I don't have the patience for it. I wish I did.
I went to look at your link, Heiress, but it said something about growing pains and how the page couldn't be viewed.

I went to look at your link, Heiress, but it said something about growing pains and how the page couldn't be viewed. oh dang... i have a PILE of unfinished stuff. i couldn't possibly work on one thing at a time... unfinished so far are: two embroidered skirts two purses to decorate two embroidered pillowcases an embroidered tea towel two quilted pillowcovers that crocheted recycled bag my daughter's paper crown (in need of repair) a pile of mending and other stuff i'm probably forgetting all about... it all gets done - eventually. right now i have a good dozen projects commenced. but it takes a while. tried the links - the one that seemed messed up was this: www.sublimestitching.com check out the customer gallery... and jenny hart's own gallery work... if the site works. seems to be OK here. i'm going to try making portraits and the like the way she does... i'm planning on a frida kahlo. soon as i get all this other stuff done!
