The Wooden Sea by Jonathan Carroll.
Why? Cuz his stories start out like something out of every day life and then get twisted inside out. | |

Anytime someone wants to talk books, let me know! So far this summer, I've read:
1. Dress Your Family In Corduroy and Denim -- David Sedaris 2. Presidential Leadership 3. Booty Nomad -- Scott Mebus (trashy fun) 4. A Home at the End of the World -- Michael Cunningham (excellent writer) 5. The DaVinci Code -- Dan Brown (because the peer pressure to read it finally got the best of me, and it WAS engaging...) 6. The Old Man and the Sea -- Ernest Hemingway (because it had been YEARS since I last read it) I'm about to start on "Everything is Illuminated." Anyone read that yet? I've heard it's good.
