Come on in everyone and meet my folks.

It's taken me ages to get them to agree to this.....They're kinda timid so please take it easy with 'em and treat 'em kind like...



From Left to Right..
Brother Redwood....Ma Rosewood...and...Pa Sandalwood

They spend most of their time working down the treacle mine (location very secret) and don't get to see others very often....and others don't get to see them...(we are quite small).

Over the years we have lost touch with the rest of the family... so if by chance you happen to come across one of them could you please let me know here.

Could you also include their name and pic (if possible), as we have terrible memories

That's right ...You have dark treacle...(looks like mollases), but if you don't like that you have Golden syrup...(very sweet)

You have to get the right mine though and Treacle dowsing is a very specialised art.....A Treacle mine is a very rare and valued thing and provides an income for centuries...which is why we keep ours very very secret.

See they sorta lay in veins deep deep down..(it has to be at least 1000 metres for the treacle to be mined in its purest and fluid state, ...and requires special treacle shovels and buckets to stop it sticking ...(it can be a real mess to clean in its raw state)

These veins are seperated by layers of rock....candy rock that is.....when a vein is exhausted we mine the rock out and sell that also...(most of it goes to Blackpool)

It is important to keep these mining processes seperate to ensure the purity of the treacle and the syrup.
