Like a lot of games, Ms. Pac Man had a bit of a pattern to it in that if you waited long enough a way out would eventually reveal itself. For example, right when all the ghosts are comin' atcha allofasudden one of 'em hangs a right or a left giving the way out. Of course, you had to jump on the first "way out" otherwise they'd nab ya! emmanuel said: I don't know if "Arkanoid" was an eighties thing, but I played it to death anyways. Double Dragon. Galaga. Sinistar. Stargate. Star Wars--the sit down version. Tempest. Tron For pin-ball my fave was "Pin-Bot", if anyone remembers that one. Does anyone remeber the car-racing game "Sprint"? It was one of the first games to have three steering wheels on a single game unit. My favourite video/pinball game company was "Williams". They made really creative games! Games I couldn't stand, but played anyway (when there was nothing else around): Zaxxon, Q*Bert, Moon Patrol, the list goes on speaking of Pinball..do u remember a pinball machine called Funhouse? it had this ventriloquist dummy that starts snoring! coolest pinball game ever! Check it out ...Shiny Toy Guns R gonna blowup VERY soon and bring melody back to music..you heard it here 1st! http://www.myspacecomment...theone.mp3

Yeah, I remember that one. Didn't it have a cool multi-ball feature? Something like 5 or 6 balls all at once? Memoriiiieeeees The Only One with the Power to Save Us is Ourselves

Golden Axe was pretty fun, too. I played that one until I beat the thing.

Man, you guys are bringing back memories.
My dad's in the arcade game business (Senior Vice Pres. of distributing games for many of the game rooms) so he'd always bring home games and I'd go to his work and play games for hours on free play (the secret on how to get anywhere in Dragon's Lair) in the warehouse. He still has many classic games in the warehouse-it's like a flashback my childhood when I walk in there. Definitely have always loved pinball like starkitty (especially Funhouse, that is classic-such a great game and possibly the best pinball game ever made) but here's just a few of my favorite classic arcade games: Golden Axe -love this game. Star Wars-both versions. Arkanoid-I still struggle with my Arkanoid addiction. Pac Man -classic. Ms. Pac Man-classic. Gauntlet-such a great game. Asteroids-addictive. Galaga-again, addictive. QBert-addictive, and at times frustrating as hell. Spy Hunter-people wonder why there's so many high speed chases, could this be the culprit? Also add the NES cabinets they had with Mario Bros., Duck Hunt and various other games, plus the sit-down games you'd see mainly in pizza parlors. Plus all the rest of the classics that we all love-Space Invaders, etc. I know I'm forgetting SOMETHING-and if I have, be sure I probably played it, loved it and wish I could play it again. I still remember those Saturdays I'd go to work with my dad and walk out to the warehouse and see a sea of games just waiting to be played. I'd spend hours like a kid in a candy store playing arcade, pinball and sit-down games usually till it was time to go home. Granted I'd help out with cleaning the games, sweeping the warehouse or helping organizing the offices-but we both knew why I was there.

Space Ace They even made a Saturday morning cartoon for it, as I recall. THAT'S IT!!!! I had forgotten about the damned cartoon!!! Do not hurry yourself in your spirit to become offended, for the taking of offense is what rests in the bosom of the stupid ones. (Ecclesiastes 7:9)
