I really appreciate your kind words... they do mean so much to me... 
I was so afraid to post these....  
Before I go to bed let me explain what I posted ... Pill tells me he can find a  in just about everything I paint. Well, he's partially right... most of my paintings deal with images of the Goddess, whose symbols do represent a woman's body.
The first one I posted is supposed to be a demon ... turmoil... I'm not so sure you can tell because large portions of the paintings got cut out for some reason... The demon is throwing human shaped figures to all edges of the paper. In second one, the is obviously not hard to find but look at the position of the figure.... I didn't realize she was in a Christ like pose until after the piece was completed... her hair (in real life you real can't see much here  ) matched both the moon and the sun...she walks on the beach...a place i believe is ever symbolic of change, on here left there is a field of pink flowers which unfortunately is not showing up here ... this to me represents her influence on the rest of the world.
The last one.. again Pill and the rest of you, could easily spot the shaped objects...it features a Pagan symbol for the Goddess in the center... her arms supporting the 3 phases of the moon. I'm not sure what this one means yet.... I usually don't know what my paintings mean until they are finished ... but I get the feeling it's just going to be a big old Thank you, for all she has given me.

these are very nice, and i have studied art in university and paint as well. i understand how difficult in must have been to open yourself up so much and post those, vulnerable. i like them all but the first one brings out emotions so it would be my favorite. great!! congrats.

Wow....Thank you! .... your words mean a lot! I've been thinking about going back to school for art theraphy.

really thank you, to have people you love and that love you say nice things always is appreciated but to have a stranger say so can at times mean so much!
Nice pictures...nice vivid colours...as I am slightly colour blind! The explanation helped as well I think your idea of art therapy is excellent....especially if you are into the caring profession in some way or other. I would say that art therapy is a profession in it's own right....which allows you to continue your own exploration of art in your own time.....If it's what you want go for it...can spend a lifetime saying "if only"! Thanks for the pics...nice  I have a firm grip on reality...Maybe just not this reality  |
