It's good to be reminded though, that's its important not to make any assumptions about the others on the org. I mean, how many know the others here personally? We're just total strangers sitting behind the computer .. if we crossed each other on the street we'd probably not even realize ..

to get back to your problem, maybe you should get an avatar with a less masculine-looking Prince? Like the avatar Calhoun Sqre has, where's looking more feminine? I dunno .. maybe that might work?

It's because people don't bother to look at your profile. I've thought a lot of different people on here were a different gender than they really were at first. Also, a lot of people thought I was a guy too when I first joined. I never put down what sex I was in my profile until about 6 months after I started posting, and people just assumed I was a man.

regardless dej, when I first met you here I wasn't sure about your gender. you used various avatars back then that either made think you were a raver, a gay male, a teenager that likes cartoon characters, a retro hetrosexual freak with a great personality, or just some female who was very cordial and welcoming and contributed to my threads when nobody else would. when I finally saw your pic I was awe struck.. you were black .....then again I used to think RDhull was Mexican ... It's amazing how we picture someone by their posts and how they are when we meet them in person... shausler for example.... I met him last week and never knew he had such a thick New York accent....

I think it's the avatar, but I do like the avatar though.
