Divas in the old sense of the word r gone. and no i don't mean bitch. I mean a woman who could sing her ass off, is fine, and is strong. thats a true diva.

people like Aretha Franklin, Etta James, Whitney Houston, The Suprememes, Patti Labelle, Tina Turner. People like that r "true" divas. and they didn't get that titel overnight like so many r now. they worked hard. and really deserve to be called Divas.

but man o man! n e and everybody is getting that title now!

now lets disect each of these people. 4 none of these girls r "true" divas.

Brandy: first off Brandy gets points 4 being strong cuz she had a nervous breakdown and all. but by no means is she a diva! i hate her singing and she aint all that cute. i like her acting tho. y someone would call brandy a diva is beyond me i just don't kno..but then again whoever is "hot" at the moment is the new diva so....

Nelly Furtado: i like her. shes cool. bearable voice. hella better than brandy. and she is FINE. but by no means is she a diva. her singing aint the shit! and we all kno divas r known for their voices.

Moncia: don't get me started on her. imo she has a terrible voice. but she is cute. and she gets strength points for goin thru the suicide of her b/f commin out of it sane. but by no means is she a diva.

Beyonce: beyonce imo aint the shit. her singing voice is ok. it aint all that hot. not 2 me. shes cute. thats about it. and she got some catchy stuff.

Britney Spears: nuff said

Christina Aguilera: i love her. she is one of the few people out right now who has "it" and imo is a diva in the making. she has a strong voice. shes beautiful. and shes been thru alot of shit as a kid so she gets strength points. to me shes a diva in the making.

Hillary Duff: ugh....

Fefe Dobson: i like her. her albums cool 2 me. i can relate. shes cute. and she gets strength points cuz she done been thru some stuff wit her dad n her childhood but by no means is she a diva. her voice aint all that.

Katy Rose: i really can't comment on her cuz i really don't know who she is. this is the first time i'm hearing of her.

Alicia Keys: i loove her. she just as christina is one of the few females out her right now that has what it takes to b a diva. shes a dit - diva n training. she has an amazing voice. she writes and plays her own music. shes beautiful. and she seems 2 b one of those take no shit kind of chicks. yea shes definately a diva n the making.

Ashanti: aww naww hell naww! i stopped really focusin on her when they named her princess of r&b. the only thing ashanti gets from me is strength points bcuz she went thru 2 failed deals and still kept tryin and that does show strength.

Avril Lavigne: aww naww hell naww!

Cherie: i really can't comment on her cuz i don't really kno who she is.

Now i dare somebody to say that any of these girls 'cept christina and alicia. i dare n e of u 2 say that these girls r divas! or divas in the making. i DARE U!
