There's nothing pretty, inviting or unique about Waterford, where I live now... however, here is a picture of where I grew up. Here is "town". It is downtown where I grew up, and the stupid-assed, fucked up court house they built to replace the beautiful building that once was there.

If one placed a ramp at the end, someone could just go full speed down this street and fly right into the building. razz

And last, but DEFINITELY not least, Geno's!

Someone should do that with a bunch of explosives attached... and jump off right before it strikes that court house! They ruined that street with that stupid building.

I guess we'll have to stick it in the bedroom, and then I can ride it.

Well, you'd have to see a temple or two, just the main ones, and do lots of eating out - on the street, in restaurants, shopping centres etc. One place u have to eat at is MK suki yaki. I would also suggest a long-tail boat ride on the Chao Phraya river, a nice Thai massage, and maybe a trip to Ratchadamnoen stadium to see the kickboxing. I wouldn't suggest staying on the infamous Khao San Road, standard tourist haunt, but I would recommend visiting. For cheap but nice knick-knacks u could visit the weekend market just a short way from where I live.

Of course, u would want to get out of Bangkok too, so I'd suggest a trip to the north to Chiang Mai to do some trekking in the hills and chill out in the mountain air, and go down south to the beaches, either to Phuket, Ko Samui, Ko Phangan, Phi-Phi or another of Thailand's wonderful beaches (or all of them!).

Ultimately the best place to be would be here where I live with me as your host. Real Thai living in beautiful, simple surroundings.
