kdowney and sinister live in my neck of the woods. smile Phoenix, AZ vicinity.

I however live in the eastern part of the valley... near these mountains that I love so much.

Superstition Mountains

Off in another direction, not far from the Superstition Mountain is Red Mountain... the sunsets are amazing in this area for you have this red mound of beautiful rock, water to reflect and the sun setting off into the west. Pretty dramatic it can be. rose I live only 10 minutes from here, straight shot from my home.

We have some pretty amazing sunsets here... I took this one a few months ago.

Amazing lightening events, no matter where you are... although most dramatic if you are in the middle of isolated desert and the dark night. love2

If you drive out of the city limits... you can gain clear skies, open land that is endless and cooler weather. heart

Payson, Arizona (beautiful place)

This is one aspect I do not like about Phoenix...

too many people, high in traffic, high in pollution. I don't particularly adore this city... yet just minutes outside of it there exist so much beauty... I can hardly stand it. rose That is why I seek a home on the outskirts and soon. heart

~~~~~
Beautiful to see where many of you reside, these threads are among my most treasured. It gives you a stronger sense of the person behind the screen... rose
