Colecovision was cool, but there just wasn't enough games for it. Atari had okay games, but once Activision started getting into the business of making some games for the 2600 then they totally rocked. Pitfall, Pitfall 2, Starmaster and River Raid were among my favorites.

the Atari 5200 was the Colecovisions main compeition at that time and i prefered the 5200

I used to love that game!!! I thought it was funny when he had to duck (to dodge the birds) because his booty would stick out.

Seeing that smurf game screen is going to give me nightmares for a week! Why did they have to make that game? And with that DAMNED smurfin' music!
Never had a Colecovision. Never had Atari.
I led an Intellivision childhood. Dug the "Imagica" games for that thang. They had cool, shiney silver boxes! biggrin

'member Astrosmash, Blackjack, or Snafu? Or Triple Action? Or the voice-modulator game thingy that made the games talk 'n' stuff?
My favoutirte of all games was The Dreadnaught Factor, which kicked serious Intellivision ass! wink

sure do..i had all those games..but 1 day i got this bright idea to trade all my intellivision stuff for a vic 20 computer! it was a dumb move BUT the vic 20 introduced me to the online world so i guess it turned out ok smile but anyway a few years ago i bought the intellivision again with the intellivioice and a few games..
