It would, but again it would have to be with a bunch of unknown actors to keep the budget low. Unknowns are a good thing most of the time, though.

YEEEEESSSSS !!!
I'm a big dc fan, 2 !
At least, all dc movies r made by WB since they own dc, so it's possible on a legal point of view.
But 1st, they'd have 2 make new movies 4 all the major characters...

I'd be for a Justice League movie. The cartoon is pretty good, but let's keep it canon with the comics and keep the characters that are supposed to be in the League when it started (ahem...HAL JORDAN, not Stewart!). mad

Okay, check THIS out. You'll need Quicktime if you don't already have it.

http://theforce.net/theat...w/grayson/

"Grayson" is a fan film about Dick Grayson aka Robin after Batman supposedly dies. He ends up meeting with the Joker, Penguin, Catwoman, Batgirl (actually, she's now his wife here), Superman, Wonder Woman, and even good ol' GL (and that's Hal Jordan!). The production looks pretty dang good for an amateur film.

I wouldn't mind a "DC Universe" movie, if it was handled properly. WB has a shaky track record at best. It sounds like Batman Begins , Wonder Woman and Superman Returns are all on the right track, but then again, these are the folks giving us the crappy Catwoman flick, and the (shudder) comedy version of Green Lantern.

I think, first off, they should do PROPER films of all the core heroes, and then later do a Justice League movie. This would make the most sense.

I agree. Apparently, Nolan felt that calling it Year One would be a disservice to Miller, since it doesn't adapt that story directly (and much of it happens pre-year one). Still, everything else about the film sounds fantastic. We will finally see a proper adaptation of Batman on the big screen.

I would enjoy that....IF they didn't totally fuck it up. The only downside is, if the film was successful, they'd probably do a movie of "The Dark Knight Strikes Again". I really don't want to see that. In fact, I want to block the memory of that crapfest out of my mind for the rest of my life. Miller didn't even try with that one (unless he was TRYING to write an awful story)

Challengers Of The Unknown or Doom Patrol would make for good movies.

Other ideas:

The Spectre

The Demon

Deadman

Firestorm

Green Arrow

Shazam!

and if the boobs at WB just have to do a "zany comedy" based on one of their heroes, why not Plastic Man?? Heck, I can't believe no one's thought of putting Jim Carrey in that role.

I'd like to see a film version of 'V For Vendetta'.

I've already cast the film in my head. Bob Hoskins, Steve Coogan, Anthony Hopkins - loads of grizzled old British film actors.

Oh - The music over the end sequence where the police chief walks up the motorway would have to be The Fall's cover version of 'A Day In The Life'. I'd get Danny Boyle to direct it.

I guess this isn't a DC Universe thing though - just a DC Comic Book.

Does anybody remember a DC comic book and all the characters were cute animals? I think it was called Captain Carrot. He was a rabbit. I think it was set in outer space. I dunno. Can't be bothered to Google.

My vote for a Wonder Woman movie would have to be for Courtney Cox Arquette to play the lead - but she'd have to eat a bit more beforehand.

V For Vendetta is great!

The comic in question was titled Captain Carrot And His Zoo Crew

Courtney Cox is waaaaay to small and skinny. Wonder Woman should be someone athletic. Someone like Zeta-Jones or Jennifer Garner.

Since Garner has played Elektra (and maybe will again), I don't know if they'd sign her and get characters confused athough Berry has now done it with Storm and Catwoman. ill Zeta-Jones may be a good choice, but she's nearing 35 years of age and may be too old for the part.

That's not what the IMDB has....

http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0001876/
"Catherine Zeta Jones was born on September 25, 1969, in Swansea, West Glamorgan, Wales, UK"
