Wouldn't that b great if they did a Marvel universe film?! With all these Marvel adaptations going on, do u think there is a chance they ever do a movie with all the caracters ? (we already have X-Men, Blade, Spidey, Hulk, Punisher, Daredevil & Elektra, & from what i heard there r projects 4 the FF, the Werewolf, Ghost Rider, Sub-Mariner, Man-Thing & maaaaany others).
Of course they'd 1st need 2 make a movie of the others great Marvel characters (at least Iron Man, Thor & Cap America), but then they could do a big cross-over movie starring 'em all, maybe by taking back the plot of Secret Wars or Onslaught... Yeah, i know, one can always dream, but still, wouldn't it b a huge success & make a lot of $$$ ??? What do u think ? 'til they make "Mooreman Vs. Bushman", make mine Marvel !!!

hell nah...they cant get it right with 75% of the characters put on the big scream..could you just imagine how horrible this thing would end up with that many interests trying to be met? Space for sale...

They'd have to cast a bunch of unknowns. Patrick Stewart demands big bucks as does Halle Berry, in fact it's been said she won't even do X3 because that's below her scale now. Greedy bastards.

I didn't think Halle made a great Storm anyway. Surely they can find someone who better fits the role. "I ordered no broth! Away with ye lest my cane find your backside!!"- Ralph Wiggum, Actor.

Unfortunately, there will never be a "Marvel Universe" film. Marvel licenses out their characters to different film studios. Overall, this is a good thing. If a certain studio turns out a couple of real turkeys, then Marvel can decide not to work with them anymore. Marvel also strikes deals with the studios that insure a certain level of creative control (typically, producer Avi Arad has final veto on all scripts). The downside of this is that there can't be any mixing of different characters from different properties. A perfect example is with the Daredevil movie. In the comics, DD supporting character Ben Urich is a reporter with the Daily Bugle. Since the Bugle is associated with the Spider-Man property (which is with a different film studio), the producers of DD could not use the Bugle or any of its characters. As a result, they had to change the newspaper that Urich worked for. Its a shame really, because it would have been a hoot to see J Jonah Jameson make a cameo in DD, ranting about another "costumed freak". A similar situation occurred with the Hulk film. The character of Rick Jones (who is critical to the origin story) could not be used, since he is tied to the Captain Marvel property.
So, as a result, there can't be any appearances of multiple Marvel characters in a film, unless the same studio owns the film rights to both (and even then, there is red tape involved that makes the whole thing more trouble than its worth). Do not hurry yourself in your spirit to become offended, for the taking of offense is what rests in the bosom of the stupid ones. (Ecclesiastes 7:9)

From www.darkhorizons.com:
Handbag.com reports that Halle Berry will not be back for a third "X-Men" movie because her character, Storm, isn't going to be in it enough. According to their insider, "Halle was ready to do X-Men 3, but only if Storm was given more storyline, but the studio sees the third movie as a means to wrap up the trilogy, and that means Storm won't be featured more than Hugh Jackman's Wolverine. Halle has now passed on the third movie because she's not into bit-parts. She's an Oscar winner and she wants roles that test her". As a result, producers are now apparently looking to singer and actress Christina Milian as a possible replacement In more solid news, Latino Review has learned that "Not Another Teen Movie" & "Cellular" star Chris Evans has been offered the role of Johnny Storm (aka. The Human Torch) in Fox's "The Fantastic Four". Tim Story wants Evans and that he loved him so much that he apparently offered him the role right there on the spot. The final list now according to the most solid rumours seems to be Ioan Gruffodd ("Horatio Hornblower", "King Arthur") as Mr. Fantastic, Rachel McAdams ("The Notebook", "Mean Girls") as Susan Storm, Chris Evans as Johnny Storm, and Michael Chiklis (TV's "The Shield") as Ben Grimm. An official announcement is due any moment.

All I know is that punisher 2 is comming out 2005-2006 and iron man should be comming out around the same time.
It would be cool to have a story line of some of the "super heroes" being called to help bring the punisher to " justice" just like the old days. The closest thing to any involvment in the marvel universe in Mr.P's movie was the russian with a partially exposed spidey tatoo...shame. If you got funk you got class. Its also been rumoured that there will be an X3 and X4, both filmed at the same time (leading to the rumour that X3 would end on a cliffhanger. Perhaps the Dark Phoenix Saga???) Also in production or pre-production are: Ghost Rider (starring Nic Cage as Johnny Blaze) Luke Cage (Directed by John Singleton) Iron Fist (Starring Ray Park) Fantastic Four (See MrJoker's post) Namor (No cast or director yet) Captain America (ditto) Thor (ditto) The Silver Surfer (ditto) Do not hurry yourself in your spirit to become offended, for the taking of offense is what rests in the bosom of the stupid ones.
