Boston!

I'm going for the first time, end of August/first week in September. We'll probably stay with old family friends a good part of the time, but might look for some B&Bs up the coast after labor day...

Any recommendations on stuff to see and do? Are any of you orgers from Boston?

BTW, I have a one-year-old daughter - and might be pg agai - so nothing too wild & crazy... Well, not this time, at least! razz

(Do look me up if any of you all ever come to the south of France... cool )

Everybody hates Boston?

sad

Is it not a cool enough city for orgers?

neutral

How about the coast - Cape Cod - and nearby islands?

I'm about four hors north of Boston in Maine.
The Boston I remember is a lot of fun, but I don't know that much about places to go with a child. The last eight years or so all I have seen of the city is the airport and the highway. Hope you have a good time.

She's a good kid. I can take her to museums, parks, restaurants and the like... just not out for a night of wild clubbing. Maybe in a couple of years. wink

Go to the North End if you want good food...can be pricey but it's worth it. There are plenty of museums and the Aquarium is really nice too. The Museum of Science has an Omni Theatre that your daughter will probably love. They also have duck boat tours too if you're into the history stuff. Have fun!

Well I give up then. I have no more suggestions for you other than sex shops, tattoo parlors and dirty grungy clubs with S&M in the dark corners.

I guess if we really get bored, we can stage a historical reenactment of the Boston Tea Party. For educational purposes, of course.

My daughter needs to learn about her country! It's her first time in America (outside of the womb, that is)...
