i just bought the second season 3-disc set for the jeffersons and i was LMAO!..now i'll be getting season 1 and 3. show ya love for weezy,george,tom,helen,lionel,mr.bentley,jenny,ralph the doorman,florence and mother jefferson.

if there was a movie based on the jeffersons,who could play george?

i say PRINCE.

I LOVED The Jeffersons when it was on prime time and I LOVE The Jeffersons now...easily one of the funniest TV shows EVER!

'The Jeffersons' was a great show. back then, there were awesome characters on t.v. We had George Jefferson, Archie Bunker, Mr. Roper, etc.
To me, it seems like the only series since then that consistently had funny, quirky characters was 'Seinfeld'.

Kinda unrelated,but the third season of "Good Times" comes out on August 10.The first seasons of "Happy Days" and "LaVerne and Shirley" come out on August 17.
