Why the hell are mattress' so damn expensive?!?

So I've been shopping around for a new mattress (don't ask why I need a new one), and I'm flabberghasted by the prices! I mean for a decent one we're talking at least $1000!

Bunch of damn malarky if you ask me.....

It's because they put that fancy spring junk in there so you can bounce all you want and not disturb anyone else who happens to be in the bed.

Just some advice though... I bought my mattress about four years ago, and it was pricey... but they offered a lifetime guarantee on it for about $150 extra. GET IT! And... also get a GOOD mattress pad for it, because they won't replace or repair it if it has any stains on it... (not necessarily those kinds of stains). I've had to have mine replaced twice and so the warranty is worth it. The mattress was fine... the box springs gave out.

But, if you're going to spend that kind of money on a mattress, go with the warranty.

Posturepedic and orthopedic mattresses are the best quality types. It will help contribute to the healthy maintenance & shape of your muscular skeletal frame. As a Massage Therapist I highly recommend the better quality mattress, it's worth the price.....nod

Or, er, perhaps I should have explained. Mr Verity does tend to exaggerate, so every figure he gives you will be ten times too high. Otherwise he's perfectly all right, perfectly ha, ha, ha.
