Over the past 2 weeks we have installed Sky Digital Sattelite TV and cancelled our NTL Cable Channels(although I still have the phone and my broadband internet with them).
Anyway, after being on with Sky for 4 days now, I have realized that its no different or better than NTL Cable!! There are only VERY minor differences, like we can now get Fox News 24/7 and various religious channels, like The God Channel!!
Also, unlike NTL, Sky has millions of teleshopping channels(WHO THE F....K WANTS THEM?????), also a lot of porn channels!!! Also there are loads of Sky Movies and Sky Sports channels!! Hey, How many movies and sports events can u watch at any one time for Gods sake!!!!!????? The thing is I am not sports or movie mad!! Although I have subscribed 2 NASN(North American Sports Network), so I can watch American sports, which is more my familys scene anyway!!
I thought with getting Sattelite TV, we could watch loads of USA programmes, like NBC Today, Good Morning America, CBS The Morning Show and also Live with Regis and Kelly, The View and even Oprah(WE ARE THE ONLY COUNTRY IN THE WORLD THAT DOES NOT GET THE OPRAH WINFREY SHOW!!!!!). But we dont get any of them only Fox and Freinds!!!!
Also now we get loads of foreign TV channels - even Al Jazeera!!!

I CAN HONESTLY SAY THAT UK TV, EVEN WITH CABLE AND DIGITAL SATTELITE, IS THE MOST BORING IN THE WORLD!!!!

THE ONLY REASON I CAN COME UP WITH AS 2 WHY WE DONT GET ANY OF THESE PROGRAMMES IS ALL BECAUSE OF F.....G MONEY!!!! THESE PROGRAMMES ARE JUST TOO EXPENSIVE FOR THE BRITISH CHANNELS 2 BUY, YET ALL WE GET IS THE BRITISH BS,LIKE EASTENDERS, CORONATION STREET AND TRISHA, AND THE BRITISH PEOPLE THINK THEY ARE THE MOST FANTASTIC SHOWS IN THE WORLD!!!!

Just having my daily gripe about this hellhole, thats all!!!

YOU DON'T GET OPRAH!!!!! WTF???? I thought everybody got fucking Oprah. Even the United Arab Emirates get fucking Oprah!
