damn rite ...thats where they should end up.....my grandads was a cool celebration of his life ,,,( all got pretty drunk/well slaughtered really ),,but i think he woulda howled had he realised the poop my nanna played...in the church previous 2 the bar.so i think its important that u pick music that people listen and know that it was picked by u. im going for sometimes it snows in april free and then ohhhh i dont know  some thing uplifting and happi | |

No Prince songs for me either. I want somebody to wail a few verses of Amazing Grace. I want the eulogist to talk for 5 minutes. I wanna be put in the ground, everyone can eat their chicken and go home. Might have a lyric put on the tombstone, but no songs at the funeral. | |

Mary don't u weep..thats my one! and i would prefer it b sung live by Aretha stank u very much! and Condition Of The Heart..thats my otha one! preferably sung by momma..or Prince..some other songs i would like r We Want The Funk...Pass The Duchie...Jack U Off (a personal Fave)...Informer....and some others i gotta think of. Yesterday is dead...tomorrow hasnt arrived yet....i have just ONE day...

i'll be cremated and at my memorial party, ALL my PRINCE music will be playing from an MP-3 player or a similar device. i think that would be a just send-off. dain-daingerous

I want that John Williams joint played live, when they wheel my casket in. Either that, or they can just stick a cassette in a boombox and hit "play." I'll be dead, what will I care?

You have me rolling on the floor with Informer and Pass the Dutchie.  Your family could probably pay Snow and The Musical Youth to perform live at the funeral. I bet they haven't had gigs in a while.

I'd want some songs that help people reflect on the good things about my life. One Prince song in particular might be something like "Anna Stesia." And like every funeral should have, the song includes a salvation message. | |
