anyway sweeney you need to give cingular a big ol' boot up the ass for the numbers they're charging you. that's way too high. shop around and get a new plan - figure out what times you talk the most, and what services the people you talk the most to have (e.g. byron and pill). most services will try to work with you - often you can get free mobile to mobile or free minutes after 7 or 9 pm or something. just ask!

You're right, you're not supposed to give out credit card information if the recipient sounds shady, but I'm sure Cingular can be trusted. After all, Sweeny did call them, and not the other way around.

Well when her phone was turned back on it was probably proof she wasn't "had".

Sweeny... eek

I suggest looking closely at those that you call... finding out which cellular provider they have, and then switching to that same provider. Usually, like another suggested, they offer free, unlimited mobile to mobile minutes.

I switched to Sprint a couple of years ago and there are only two people that I talk to regularly that have a different provider than I do. So... everyone else that I talk to pretty much is free. I can talk as long as I want and none of my minutes are eaten up and there are no long distance charges or roaming charges. Also... I pay an extra $5 a month so that my free, unlimited evenings start at 7:00 p.m. instead of 9:00 p.m... and weekends are free, too.

Soooo... I talk, on average, 4,000 minutes a month (give or take... last month I went over that)... and I only pay $45.00 a month.

Seriously... look into the whole free mobile to mobile thing... it is a money saver!

I am now with Verizon, and couldn't be happier... free roaming, free long distance, free weekends... yay!
