You could say that someone who spends their money on computer crap, their CD or video game collection, cars, clothes, etc. could also be wasting their money, but I'm sure they'd find a reason to justify it. I've been lucky enough to be able to travel all over the world, so for me I'd still choose the bag over Marbella. Agreed but we're talking about 1 handbag as opposed to dozens of cd or games purchased over a period of years. Even I could justify spending 1000 pounds on hand bags over a period of several years but not on just 1 solitary handbag that you're going to use only a few times before you buy and replace it with a new one. I'd take the trip. The bag is ugly, and I've never understood the LV fascination.
Of course, I heartily understand the fascination with nice accessories. I just like to travel more than I like expensive "things". |
