Anxiety

i think the best thing about this year is that on december 31 this year, i can ask myself if i had a good year, and based on the past seven months at least (knock on wood) i can say HELL YEAH. woot!

it's been a while since i could make that claim, so even though there are a lot of things that aren't where i want 'em to be, i put a lotta things where they belonged for the first time in a long spell. and that kinda rocks. thumbs up!

I'm very scared of what will happen when my boyfriend leaves for London in September. We are young, and both deep in financial debt due to school, so staying together will be a challenge. It doesn't help that after I graduate, he will still have at least one more year to go. Where will we live? The US or the UK? How are we going to get through this next year together? WILL we even be able to make it past December?

Have my years at uni amounted to anything? Am I prepared at all to go into the work force? If I move to the UK, am I just fucking myself over (for I doubt my lit degree will be worth jackshit over there).

I'm graduating in a year, and I've already started freaking out. Just lovely...

p.s. happy birthday to all you leos!
I mean, like, where is the sun?

I went a bit off the rails last year and I can say that things are finally beginning to look back on track. Just a little effort makes a whole lot of difference. I can honestly say I'm a lot more content and happier than I have been for a long while. My current situation is not perfect but it could be a whole lot worse.

Overall then, I'm content at the moment.

I am on track life wise, lesson wise.. but financially no.

I always thought I would be retired by now.. The 911 thing plunged my 401k down to practically nothing..

So now my philosophy is live life daily, and to the fullest.

Being happy doesn't mean that everything is perfect, it means you've decided to look beyond the imperfections... unknown
