This is a thread dedicated to FRIENDS.

I had been coming here for about a year when all of a sudden I saw the logon MARMELSTEIN.
Now if you know anything about a certain ladysinger, you also know she once sang a song about a character called Miss Marmelstein.

And after seeing that this person was from The Netherlands, as I am, I deduced that this could only be ONE person. A friend of mine I had not spoken to for some time, Erik. A huge certain ladysinger fan. And also Prince fan.

And indeed! It was Erik! So much fun. First I teased him a bit, but ever since we are dropping off orgnotes every now and then.

BUT, the reason for this thread. A month ago, almost two, Erik sent me a DVD with around 700+ songs by Ella Fitzgerald, Billie Holiday and Dinah Washington, complimented with some Bowie, Joni and ermm Muppets.

I downloaded them into my Windows Media Player a week ago and ever since I am listening to this music with SO MUCH JOY.

So, again, a big thank you, Erik. You a hunnybum.
