It could have been SO much better...

That cows come from outer space part was the only thing entertaining in the whole show.

Yeah... Mose and that black chick ( sorry don't know her name) are the only likeable people on the show

I KNOW! I think all of the Amish people are actors. The whole show is so fake and calculated....pretty much like all reality shows. I don't know any Amish people personally, but I'm sure they wouldn't take part in a T.V show...especially one like that. And they're Amish....seems like they should know almost every fruit and vegetable like the back of their hands.....they never even heard of an avacado (sp?) And of course, they're(the city people) gonna try and "change" them by giving them make-overs to be cloned air-heads like themselves. I did think it was funny when Kevon (I think?) refused Reese's advances and he got mad and slapped him with a sock. But I stopped watchin' after an hour. It was too long for a show.

The only "reality show" I kinda take seriously is Last Comic Standing.

Looks like a cool show. Saw the first hour before I had to head to work. It's nothing to take seriously-but not a bad idea. Definitely a guilty pleasure.

Mose is easily my favorite, and I'm hoping somebody takes everybody out to a steakhouse to get a reaction. Vegetarians don't bother me at all, but my god, somebody's gonna end up killing her (Angie, I think?).

Before the end of this though-Reese is definitely going to get his ass kicked.

Wonder what the Simple Life crowd thinks of the Amish now.

I have caught the last two episoded of the one where the switch the moms on the families. My blood was boiling over the snotty, selfish white mom.

Amish people can make some bitchin pies and pastries! They sell alot of stuff at local flea markets, and I always come home with a few pies.

I think theyre finally starting to modernize, they come in busloads every weekend to the Target and Kmart near where I live.

Amish girls are so funny, they walk around the store drooling over all the men.

i think moses and reese is cute even though i hate his attitude. He almost got beat up
I think its so sad how they are treating the amish. I feel so bad for them.

I must admit I breezed through a few Amish in the city chat lists and there is one person on one of them who claims that a lot of AMish teens/early adults are really into booze, x, heroin and raunchy sex. I'm not agreeing/disagreeing but I thought it was kind of an interesting claim.
