Napoleon Dynamite Has anybody seen this movie yet?
Over the last few days I've been seeing the commercial for it quite often and now I think I want to see it...the commercial reminds me of the TV show "'Freaks and Geeks" which is one of my favorite programs. I looked around the internet a bit and on IMdB.com and couldn't really find that much information on this film so I was wondering if anybody here has seen it and, if so, what you thought of it. I did find out that the movie isn't set in the 70s, though, like I'd assumed from the commercials. It's present day, set in some small town in Idaho, but everybody in the film seems to have 70s hairstyles and clothes.

I saw a trailer for it. It doesn't seem to have a plot (from what I've seen in commercials, etc) and that is a-okay with me. It's only being played in select theaters - thank god it's being played in my city!
I can't wait to see it. I can't decide if this is more important than Farhenheit 911. I mean, like, where is the sun?

It's not playing around here yet (Mpls) that I have found. I hope it comes to a theater near me soon. I don't care about movies not having much of a plot, either. Im one of those people that really loves a good character driven movie. As for choosing between seeing it and Farenheit 911, well - I know I'll see Farenheit 911 eventually but right now I'm all for things that aren't too heavy, so Napoleon Dynamite wins. Also I'm sick to death of all the Michael Moore/F911 hubbub and I haven't seen the movie yet! lol That kid who plays the lead in ND, the redheaded geeky lookin kid, he looks just like a kid I went to Jr. High with.
