i had cd 1 of emancipation stolen when my car was nicked. Would it it be reasonable to download it of the net (as mp3) and convert to wav and burn a relatively poor replica?

Or just go out and buy the complete set again?

Look for it used. I almost always see a copy or 2 of Emancipation at local used CD stores.

Seriously, though. You can usually find Emancipation so cheap, it'd definitely be worth buying the whole set again. Hundreds of copies mysteriously appear in the HMV sale in the UK once a month.

You know, it's one of those CDs that I'm sure will become really collectible in years to come, purely because it'll be so hard to come by.

although i wouldn't have a problem downloading and burning it, it's true what others have said here; the discs frequently pop up in the bargain sale bins at various record stores for practically nothing.

I got mine for $9.98 at a used book store and people still told me I paid too much for it.
