oh come on.....sport on 3 channels???? bbc1 - euro final
BBc2 - wimbledon doubles final ITV - euro final channel4 - some archeology dig channel 5 - film with clint eastward i mean to show the same match on 2 channels is disgusting. i am kinda watching it..but its not the poiint. there are ppl there who hate sport, archeology and clint. 
yes i know i should have cable/satalite...but i don't.

you're not alone....here where i am in the states:
abc: golf nbc: more golf every other channel's either crappy movies or infomercials. no teevee for me till at least later on...right now i'm listenin to some music to pass the time. gonna go and take a nap in a bit, tho'.  | |

ok rant over. Well, we're not exactly off the hook in Canada - each year our public broadcaster (the cbc) receives roughly one billion dollars in subsidies from taxpayers. AND the cbc also runs advertisements (on television anyway - the radio stations are commercial-free)...so basically we give tax-payer funds to the cbc so that they can compete to take away advertising revenues from private broadcasters. To me, that seems more than a little unjust. | |
